You will see this information at or on the Race Committee course board:

Red or Green plaque located on the stern of the committee boat will indicate port or starboard mark rounding.

Course board is read top to bottom per column:

Top Box Course (Class / Start) Number

Second Box Compass Heading to First Mark

Third Box Course Symbol

Fourth Box Number of laps or partial laps

The Race Committee may change the leeward mark to a Gate Mark for any course.
