Sailing Experience
Cost: $100
Bring a partner, spouse, or friend for an additional $85.
Do you find yourself watching YouTube sailboat adventures? Jacomo Sailing Club has 3 keelboats where you can get a taste of that life for yourself.
This is a 4 hour experience where you will meet with one of our qualified skippers, have a quick introduction to the boat, rig the boat, and sail for about 2 hours. Each participant will help sail the boat as they choose. You'll be done around 5:00 but we can't guarantee the return time due to winds.
We offer morning and afternoon sessions on each experience day. All sessions are on the water and meet at the ramp for the Lake Jacomo South Docks.
PFDs must be worn at all times on the water.
Any cancellations due to weather will be made at the dock.
Remember to dress appropriately for the weather. Please bring:
- Lifejacket (we can provide as needed)
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Hat
- Water
- Snacks
- Non-slip, closed-toed shoes (preferred)
- Gloves (optional)
